Bio:

Carolyn Daitch, Ph.D., is an internationally renowned clinician, author, trainer and presenter. Dr. Daitch is the director of the Center for the Treatment of Anxiety Disorders in Michigan. She is an elected fellow with the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and author of The Road to Calm: Life-Changing Tools to Stop Runaway Emotions and the award-winning Affect Regulation Toolbox.

Consuelo Casula, Dipl. Psych

Bio:

I am the current Past President of the European Society of Hypnosis and a board member of the Italian Society of Hypnosis. I practice clinical hypnosis, travel nationally and internationally to teach hypnosis, and have received the IV International Award “Franco Granone” from the Centro Italiano Ipnosi Clinica e Sperimentale.

John Beahrs, MD

Bio:

M.D. Stanford, 1969. Hypnosis research with Ernest R. Hilgard, then studied with Milton H. Erickson during subsequent residency. Practiced clinical psychiatry in private and public settings, chiefly 20+ years with the VA. Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry, Oregon Health & Science University. Subspecialties: the nature of consciousness and volition, personal identity, trauma, minds as shared self-deception. Three books, numerous articles. Loves the outdoors, photography and music composition.

Rubin Battino, MS

Bio:

Rubin Battino received his MS in Mental Health Counseling in 1978 from Wright State University. He is an LPCC in Ohio and specializes in very brief therapy using hypnosis. He is a Fellow of the National Council for Hypnotherapy of the UK. His latest publication is “When All Else Fails”.

Dr. Norma Barretta, MA, PhD

Bio:

Dr. Norma Barretta studied personally with Milton Erickson and has been teaching the use of hypnosis, neurolinguistics, and the power of language since 1975. A pioneer in paradigm shifting trends of psychotherapy, Norma is a teacher and advocate of Brief Therapy. She has assisted in several surgeries, keeping patients in trance while they have a surgical procedure without anesthesia.

She is a partner in the Madrid-Los Angeles Erickson Institute and is frequently a faculty member for the Erickson Foundation Congresses. She currently teaches in Spain, Poland, Italy and for the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. She is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. She has recently been learning about the healing power of sound from her daughter Jolie Barretta, and is now using sound to deepen and enhance trance state with some of her private patients. She has taught for the International Society of Hypnosis and the European Society of Hypnosis.

Jolie Barretta grew up in the Barretta household where she was the subject of early experimentation in different methods of trance induction by her parents Philip and Norma Barretta. Later, she was the demonstration subject for a seminar in Rome, Italy, where she was prepared for the surgical removal of 4 impacted wisdom teeth, which were extracted without anesthesia.

After studying at California State University and the University of Florence in Italy, she coached the U.S. National Gymnastics Team working with 8 Olympic athletes, including the gold medal winning men’s team of 1984 at the Olympic games in Los Angeles.

She wrote “Body Alignment” in 1985 (Burgess Publishing) and taught seminars at several U.S. Olympic training centers for Olympic level athletes in several sports.

12 years ago she began research and development in the field of Sound Healing and began practicing Cymatic Design in 2012. She currently has a private practice in California where she offers Sound Sessions in her studio. She presents seminars on Cymatics in Europe and has presented at the Globe Sound Conference in the United States.

Jolie is fluent in English, Italian, French, and Spanish.

Connirae Andreas, PhD has been teaching personal transformation methods for more than four decades. Helen Adrienne, MSW

Helen Adrienne has been in general psychotherapy practice in since 1979. Known for working with fertility patients, her clinical work is a reflection of her expertise in mind/body interventions for managing stress, no matter the adversity. She conducts mind/body stress reduction classes for the NYU Fertility Center. Her book, On Fertile Ground: Healing Infertility launched as a #1 best seller on Amazon and is available there. She has hosted master classes with Jeff Zeig in New York City since 2002 and has supervised these classes with him since 2012. She has presented at national and international conferences. Helen is an approved consultant for the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. In a special CEU-approved 2-day training program, she educates mental health professionals in mind/body stress reduction interventions.
