Woltemade Hartman (Ph.D) is a Clinical Psychologist. He received his training as an Ericksonian psychotherapist at the Ericksonian Foundation in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. He is the Founding Director of the Milton H. Erickson Institutes of South Africa (MEISA) and executive board member of the International Society of Hypnosis (ISH). Dr Hartman is the recipient of the 2009 Early Career Award for Innovative Contributions to Hypnosis from the International Society of Hypnosis.

Bruce Gregory, Ph.D. is a licensed Marriage, Family Therapist with a degree in Professional Psychology. He has published numerous articles on the integration of the mind-body approach with mathematics, physics, classical music composition theory, and Tai Chi in the treatment of trauma, abuse and addiction. He has been presenting workshops for the Erickson Foundation for over 25 years. He recently presented at the International Conference on Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Consciousness in India on the Integration of Quantum Physics in the Transformation of Consciousness.

Bio:

Eric Greenleaf, PhD, a clinical psychologist practicing in Albany, CA, directs The Milton H. Erickson Institute of the Bay Area. He has treated with, taught, and written about hypnotherapy for fifty years, and researches trance and healing in Bali. Dr Erickson chose Eric to receive the first Milton H. Erickson Award of Scientific Excellence for Writing in Hypnosis.

Brent B. Geary, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in Phoenix. Since 1988, he has also been the Director of Training for the Milton H. Erickson Foundation. Dr. Geary has presented on clinical hypnosis extensively, both domestically and internationally. He is coeditor, with Jeffrey Zeig, Ph.D., of The Handbook of Ericksonian Psychotherapy and The Letters of Milton H. Erickson. In 2015, Dr. Geary was presented The Milton H. Erickson Lifetime Achievement Award.

Bio:

Teresa Garcia-Sanchez, MA, is the Instituto Erickson Madrid Director, she created, in 2000, a four-year “Ericksonian Hypnosis and Psychotherapy Master”, since then 1200 students have participated in it. Since 2004, Teresa is an Invited Faculty at the Ericksonian Congress. She is member or past-member of ISH, ESH, ASCH, CFHTB, AEHE and presents at their congresses. Teresa conducts teachings (in Español, Français and English) in hospitals and universities in Spain, France, Russia, Mexico, and has also taught at Esalen (Palo Alto, California). Teresa is internationally known for her original approach to the utilization of metaphors in therapy, her very clear, amusing, and didactic way of teaching, and “her good understanding of the work of Dr. Erickson” as some of the direct students of Milton Erickson say. She wrote with Betty Erickson, Roxanna K. Ercikson and Dan Sort “La Hipnosis de Milton Erickson” an adaptation to the Spanish culture of the book “Hope and Reciliency”.

Bio:

A practicing licensing board defense attorney and clinical/forensic psychologist, Steven Frankel is a PhD of Indiana University, interned at Columbia University, and served as a full-time clinical psychology faculty member at USC for 11 years, 5 years as Director of Clinical Training. A Clinical Professor at USC and a past Adjunct faculty member at Loyola (L.A.) and Golden Gate law schools, Steve has received awards for teaching excellence in law/psychology interfaces and in trauma assessment and treatment, which has been his specialty since 1980. He has authored the chapter on Risk Management for trauma clinicians in APA’S forthcoming Handbook of Trauma. His Practice-Legacy Programs work was created to protect clinicians, their families and patients/clients from failures to prepare for unanticipated death or disability.

Dr. Neil Fiore is the bestselling author of Awaken Your Strongest Self, The Now Habit, and Coping with the Emotional Impact of Cancer. Neil was a paratrooper with 101st Airborne, a manager for Johnson & Johnson, and was a psychologist at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Fiore has published in The New England Journal of Medicine and has been cited in The New York Times, The Times of London, The Washington Post, and The Wall St. Journal. Neil conducts seminars and lectures at major schools and businesses, including the Smithsonian Institute, Bechtel Power, AT&T, Levi Strauss, and Philadelphia’s Jefferson Medical College. Bio:

Jeff earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Case Western Reserve University and interned at NYU Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital. In 1980 he helped found the NY Milton H. Erickson Society for Psychotherapy and Hypnosis. Jeff is an Associate Professor in the Section of Neuropsychology, Department of Neurology, and Associate Director of the Center for Integrative Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Jeff has served as Co-Chair of the Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine and Health’s Clinical Working Group and Co-Chaired the 2018 International Congress for Integrative Medicine and Health.
