Volunteers

  • Please read all the following details and complete the form if you desire to be a volunteer at Erickson Congress 2019. You will need to complete a deposit after hitting the submit button in order to be confirmed as a volunteer.

  • The Responsibilities: Volunteers will be assigned on a random basis to monitor meeting rooms and assist faculty and staff. You will be scheduled to work approximately four to five hours per day, during mornings, afternoons or possibly evenings. Please see the schedule in to make sure you can volunteer during those times. You must have open availability throughout the Main Conference (December 12th - 15th).

    You will NOT be able to choose the workshops for which you are assigned; however, when not assigned, you may attend any sessions you prefer during the MAIN CONFERENCE ONLY. Remember: You will be able to claim credit toward a Certificate of Attendance stating your hours for all sessions worked and attended!

    The Requirements: Undergrad students are not eligible to volunteer. Volunteers should be able to understand and communicate in English and have legible handwriting. Volunteers should also be able to communicate rules and regulations. Do not sign up if you are not comfortable confronting attendees. All other expenses related to the Conference including hotel accommodation, transportation, parking, meals, etc. are the responsibility of the volunteer.     There will be a mandatory volunteer meeting on Wednesday, December 11th, at 7pm.

    If you cannot commit to the requirements/responsibilities, you will not be able to volunteer, but you may sign up as an attendee.

    The Cost: The cost of attending Erickson Congress 2019 as a volunteer is $35.00. You will be refunded $85 of the original deposit ($120) after you have successfully completed your volunteer duties as assigned. Refunds will be mailed to you 4-6 weeks after completion of the Congress.

    All cancellations must be in writing and there will be a $50 administrative charge for each cancellation. Cancellations received that are NOT postmarked by Monday, November 11th, will NOT be eligible for a refund. You must notify the Foundation of any changes by emailing support@erickson-foundation.org or calling 602-956-6196.

  • Volunteer selection will be on a first come first serve basis and you will be notified by email if you have been selected or not. You will not be able to choose the session you are assigned to. If you would like to attend the Pre-Conference, but are not selected to volunteer, you will need to register separately as an attendee.

  • YOUR REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED YOUR VOLUNTEER DEPOSIT ON THE FOLLOWING PAGE. WE WILL EMAIL YOU A PAYMENT CONFIRMATION WHICH WILL SERVE AS YOUR CONFIRMATION OF VOLUNTEER SELECTION.
